A Brand with a Mission

Kimmara was born from a deep desire to create more than just beautiful things.

To keep someone close: a parent you lost, a child you just gave birth to, a partner you  love.

To give a gift that will be remembered forever, not tossed aside in a drawer
To help someone you love feel seen, supported, or healed
To celebrate emotional milestones: birthdays, anniversaries, loss, birth, baptisms
To connect with something or someone deeper than herself

As the founder, my dream has always been to grow a business that not only celebrates meaningful gifting – but also creates opportunities for women.

I want Kimmara to become a safe space for mothers who struggle in traditional jobs, especially those without support. Women who are creative, strong, and full of love – just like the jewellery we make.

By growing this brand, I aim to employ and empower other women, giving them the flexibility, dignity, and purpose they deserve.

 Founder Story

From Refugee to Creator of Meaningful Gifts

My name is Nikolina, and I am the heart behind Kimmara.

Born in Croatia, I grew up surrounded by war — an experience that shaped the way I see life, love, and human connection. As a refugee child, I spent years moving, adapting, surviving. After the war, I spent the rest of my childhood and young adult life in Serbia, always longing for a place that truly felt like home.

I found it in Greece.
In a quiet corner of Crete, I finally discovered peace – and with it, the courage to start something of my own.

Kimmara was born from that healing. It’s a studio built on love, family, and the power of giving meaningful gifts. Each piece of jewellery is a reflection of that journey — a reminder that even in the hardest moments, something beautiful can grow.

But it’s not just about me.
My dream is to grow Kimmara into a woman-led space that employs and supports mothers who need flexibility, empathy, and community — women like me, who have faced struggles and still choose to give love.

This is more than jewellery.
